Overview

Marketplace events is a way to ensure that your organizational memory persists when analyzing data.  Too often events that occur - such as hurricanes and other natural disasters,  promotions and other large demand shifting events, supply chain interruptions and more are analyzed as they occur, but are forgotten by the  time their anniversary arrives.  Companies often miss these effects both as they happen and as their latent effect on prior year comparisons work their way through your sales performance.  Marketplace events is a flexible way to store, retrieve, organize, visualize and analyze these effects.
